Matt Noor
Matt Noor is a 19-year-old electronic music artist from Slovakia, developing his sound across drum & bass, house, ambient and the wider spectrum of EDM. While his productions explore different tempos and styles, his work in drum & bass represents an increasingly important part of his artistic direction.
Biography
A key milestone in his development came with his release “Free Your Mind”, released through Bass Portal in collaboration with DnB Portal. The release places him within the contemporary drum & bass landscape and reflects his interest in combining the energy and rhythmic intensity of DnB with a strong sense of atmosphere and melody. Released in 2026, Free Your Mind represents an important step in his progression as a young producer and highlights his ability to approach drum & bass with a versatile electronic production background.
His connection to the wider electronic scene is also reflected in his releases through King Step. Tracks including Chasing Dreams and Be Okay demonstrate his willingness to move beyond a single genre and experiment with different approaches to electronic production. Earlier releases such as Fragments and Ether explore a more atmospheric and introspective side of his sound, while other productions further expand his range across contemporary EDM.
What connects these different releases is his focus on atmosphere, melodic ideas and detailed electronic production. Rather than limiting himself to one formula, he treats different genres as different ways of expressing the same creative identity.
At 19, Matt Noor is still at an early stage of his career, but his work with Bass Portal and King Step marks a significant step toward establishing himself within the drum & bass community. With a growing catalogue and a clear interest in exploring the genre further, Matt Noor is an emerging Slovak producer worth keeping an eye on.
