Videographer
Film DJ sets, festivals, studio sessions and whatever else the Bass Portal production calendar puts in front of the camera.
What this is about.
This role sits inside real Bass Portal and DnB Portal productions. One day can mean a DJ set in the studio, another can mean a festival stage or on-location content. For the regular videographer role, you should already be comfortable operating a camera. If you are earlier in your journey and want an internship, we are also open to teaching you how our music-production workflow works in practice.
Real projects, real output.
- Film Bass Portal and DnB Portal video sets, studio sessions, festivals and other music productions.
- Capture both long-form footage and material that can later work as Reels, Shorts and social content.
- Operate confidently around changing light, movement and live-performance conditions.
- Work on and around stages without getting in the way of artists, crew or the performance.
- Travel with the team for selected productions outside Prague when required.
- Keep footage and media organised so editing can start without unnecessary cleanup.
What we are looking for.
- For the regular role, you should already understand basic camera operation, framing, focus and exposure.
- Your own gear is expected for the regular role: ideally a Sony full-frame camera or Sony FX30 plus a gimbal.
- You should be reliable and comfortable working around artists, DJs, stage crews and live events.
- A feel for electronic music and live performance is a plus, but we can teach you how our productions and stage environment work.
- A showreel or sample footage is useful for the regular role; internship applicants can also contact us while still building experience.
Want to learn it with us?
- If you want to learn live music videography through an internship, tell us directly in your application.
- We can teach you how to shoot DJ sets, move and behave safely on a stage, work around artists and crew, and adapt your camera work to a real music-production environment.
- You do not need a polished professional portfolio to ask about the internship path — motivation, reliability and a genuine interest in learning matter more.
Work inside the ecosystem.
- Real shoots for Bass Portal and DnB Portal instead of fictional practice briefs.
- Hands-on experience with DJ sets, studio productions, festivals and different live environments.
- Practical guidance on stage behaviour, music-event shooting and the production workflow around each set.
- A chance to build stronger material for your own videography portfolio while learning how music content is produced for multiple platforms.
