Technical Assistant
Learn video-set production from the inside and support cameras, cabling and technical gear at Bass Portal.
What this is about.
This is an entry-level role for someone who wants to discover the electronic music scene from the production side. You do not need previous camera or technical experience. What matters is an interest in music and gear, reliability and the willingness to learn — we will teach you the workflow.
Real projects, real output.
- Help prepare and connect technical equipment for Bass Portal video sets.
- Assist with cameras during DJ sets and keep an eye on the image while recording.
- Learn to monitor camera basics such as ISO, aperture, exposure and framing.
- Help keep cameras, cables and production gear organised and ready during shoots.
- Support the team during studio and selected event productions.
What we are looking for.
- No previous technical, camera or production experience is required.
- A genuine interest in electronic music, DJ culture and production gear.
- Reliability, attention and a willingness to learn hands-on.
- You should be comfortable asking questions when you do not know something yet.
- English is useful, but it is not a requirement.
Learn it hands-on.
- Hands-on training from the Bass Portal production team.
- Camera basics including ISO, aperture, exposure and framing.
- How a video-set setup is connected, checked and kept running during a recording.
- Real experience around DJ sets, artists and electronic music production.
- A chance to see the scene from the technical and production side, not only from the audience.
Sound like you?
You do not need to arrive as a technician. Bring curiosity, reliability and an interest in music and gear — we will teach you the rest.
